What is a Vendor’s advocate?

A Vendors Advocate is a Licensed Estate Agent, who is hired to represent the needs of the vendor (owner) of the property due to be sold. The Vendor’s Advocate is engaged at the commencement of the process and has hands-on involvement in the sales process.

• interviewing and selection of real estate agents
• researching current market analytics to ensure the best advice is provided to the vendor.

The vendor Advocate is directly involved in liaising with the agents, reading the vendor reports, attending vendor meetings, and assisting in signing the contracts on the day. Their primary role is to keep the vendor fully informed along the way and achieve the best price for their property.
